Hi, My name is Namood A Saher. I am an artist and designer. My work is an exploration of identity, mental health, and the intricate relationships between political identities, culture, and personal growth. As a Pakistani-American Muslim Woman, I navigate the complexities of self-expression and belonging, often feeling disconnected from my roots. This internal tension is reflected in my art, where I merge elements of my cultural heritage with personal struggles and aspirations. The result is a body of work that aims to examine the fluidity of identity and the constant evolution of the self.

I am deeply inspired by both my cultural backgrounds and the socio-political landscape around me. Politics heavily shape my work, particularly in terms of social justice and the fight for visibility. The complexities of power, identity, and representation are integral to my creative process, and I strive to express these themes through my art and reflect the times we live in.

In my work, I aim to speak to the complexity of healing and the search for truth, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own relationships with identity, culture, and the forces that shape their lives. Through art, I seek to create space for conversation, growth, and the collective exploration of both personal and societal change.
